Diamond plate floor and under side of car. Turbo 350 trans. 69 camero rear, coil over 4 link rear suspension, ifs coil over front suspension with rackinpinion steering. This car is a eye catcher and a lot of fun. A few more chrome things to point out... Chrome high torque starter, chrome alternator, chrome gm tilt steering column, chrome steering wheel, chrome z06 wheels,chrome fuel pump, chrome vacuum booster (yes it has power brakes) chrome corvette master cylinder, chrome proportioning valve, chrome upper and lower control arms, polished stainless steel headlight mounts, polished stainless steel dd steering shafts, stainless steel radiator hoses, chrome steering knuckles, polished aluminum rad. Overflow, polished aluminum shotgun intake, aluminum chevy bow tie high-rise intake manifold, aluminum chevy bow tie heads, crane roller rockers, balanced crankshaft, msd distributor, msd coil, msd ignition. Stainless steel custom headers, 3" chrome internal muffler side pipes, master power kill switch, fuel cut off valve, rear sub-frame for bumper. 2 remote controlled multi function, multi colored led accent lighting systems. I'm sure there are there are plenty of things i'm forgetting this car is a fiberglass body "no rust" mileage may change because i do take it out on nice days and to showsthe pictures with the fenders and running boards are from before the car was redone. I still have the running boards, hood and fenders also a extra set of rims and tires which will go with the sale.

1996 ford mustang review this car review is specific to this model, not the actual vehicle for sale. Mustang picks up the pace. introductionford's mustang was the first of a new breed of factory hot rod--the 'pony car'--when it was launched back in 1964, and during the decades that followed it's stuck largely to the same genetic coding: high performance, low tech and low cost.  with a simple rear-drive chassis borrowed from a sedan and lots of components borrowed from other ford vehicle lines, the mustang has always been relatively cheap to produce, delivering lots of performance at bargain prices.  however, in terms of maximum performance, the mustang's formula has, in recent years, fallen behind the pace set by gm's camaro-firebird twins. Ford's durable old 5. 0-liter v8 simply didn't match the muscle of gm's 5. 7-liter v8, which bristles with torque and horsepower.  so for 1996, ford answers the challenge with a new engine. The overhead valve 5. 0-liter has been replaced with ford's much more sophisticated 4. 6-liter v8, an engine with better volumetric efficiency as well as better emissions performance. The mustang gt receives the single overhead cam version, similar to the engine used in the ford crown victoria and lincoln town car. With 215 hp and 285 lb.-ft. Of torque, it delivers roughly the same performance as the old 5. 0-liter.  but if sizzling go-power is the objective, ford now has an answer for the camaro z28 and firebird trans am. The new mustang cobra has the dual overhead cam, 32-valve version of the 4. 6-liter v8, and in cobra tune it throbs with 305 hp and 300 lb.-ft. At the entry end is the basic mustang, powered by a 3. 8-liter v6 that provides good torque and satisfactory performance for those who want mustang style but aren't obsessed with zero-to-60 mph times.  each model level is available as a coupe or convertible. Because of the extra structure needed to compensate for the absence of a steel top, convertibles invariably weigh more than their coupe counterparts.  there aren't many options for the cobra, which is well equipped as is. The only other available option is mystic clearcoat metallic paint, an irridescent finish that seems to change color depending on viewing and/or light angles. Ford thinks this is very snazzy indeed; we don't agree, particularly for $815.  the functional standard equipment list for the cobra includes antilock brakes, limited-slip differential and 17-in. Aluminum alloy wheels mounting 245/45zr-17 high performance tires. The transmission is a 5-speed manual, natch, and there's no automatic transmission option.  like the rest of the running gear, the huge brakes--13. 0-in. Vented rotors front, 11. 65-in. Rear--are designed for high performance.  the cobra also has different suspension tuning, including a slightly smaller front antiroll bar and a slightly larger bar in the rear, a combination designed to reduce understeer--the tendency for the car to go straight in hard cornering.  one thing the cobra isn't is cheap. Base price for this model is $24,810. The 4-cam (two cams per cylinder bank) v8 is a genuine sweetheart. The tachometer needle seems directly connected to the driver's right foot.  unlike typical american v8 engines that run out of wind at higher speeds, the cobra v8 cranks hard all the way to the redline. It has that high-revving, spirited feel we've come to know and love in high performance engines from germany and japan, and it's an absolute treat to operate.  with big tires, wheels and brakes, the cornering and stopping capabilities of the cobra are up to the high standard set by the wonderful engine. In the sense of absolute handling limits, the cobra is hampered slightly by its chassis design, which dates to the old ford fairmont. However, if the handling distinctions between the cobra and the camaro z28 might be measurable--in tenths of seconds--on a racetrack, it would tough to find any difference on public roads. interiorford engineers went to a lot of trouble to give the mustang a decent interior, and they've largely succeeded. Fairly tall drivers will find room for head and legs, and fairly short drivers can adjust the seat for adequate reach to all the controls. The seating position is also generally more upright than the camaro and firebird, which is generally more comfortable for extended periods of driving.  on the other hand, the mustang interior feels a little dated with its relatively tall, narrow dimensions, and some of the control locations could be better. Sound system controls, for example, are directly ahead of the shift lever, the fog lamp and headlight switches are on opposite sides of the steering wheel and the small center console has only one cupholder, which is awkwardly placed.  like almost every other sporty coupe, the rear seat is suitable for briefcases and/or a load of chinese takeout food--not for people. The big tires, firm suspension and superb brakes give the car an impressive range of performance in all areas. The ride is on the stiff side compared to mainstream sedans, but more comfortable than we expected and more supple than the camaro z28.  while the engine is terrific, the shifter is a little less endearing. The shift throws seem long, detracting from the ability to make quick, precise gear changes. Alloy wheels, anti-theft system. model testedmustang cobra. A 4. 6-liter v8 rated at 231 horsepower is optional in xl models and regular cab xlt, and standard in all others. A 5. 4-liter v8 rated at 260 horsepower is available as an option for most f-150s. All three cab styles are offered in xl, xlt, and lariat trim levels; supercabs and supercrews can be promoted to ultimate king ranch status, with leather captain's chairs, premium audio, and unique identification.  i love the supercrew, which features luxurious rear-seat accommodations that can be converted into covered cargo storage. Overall length is kept reasonable by using an ultra-short bed that measures just 5 1/2 feet. The bed is a compromise, but it relieves the driver of the daily burden of maneuvering a pickup that's as long as an aircraft carrier. The top-rung lariat supercrew is equipped like a luxury sport-utility, with handsome leather upholstery, power-adjustable pedals and an optional moonroof and rear-seat entertainment system.  for 2002, even base-level xls are air conditioned. Power-adjustable pedals are standard on all lariat models and optional on xl and xlt trim lines. Antilock brakes (abs) are standard throughout the f-150 line, and remote keyless entry is now a standard feature on xlt models.  with colors and options thrown in, the model matrix is huge. And this matrix includes some specialty models.  new for 2002 is the fx4 off-road package, which includes 17-inch cast aluminum wheels with exposed lug nuts, rancho-brand shocks, three skid plates, a 3. 55 axle and p265/70r17 white-outline tires. The fx4 package is available only on 4x4 models, but the package price ranges from $620-$1165 depending on trim level and body style.  the high-performance svt lightning, packs a supercharged 5. 4-liter v8 rated at 380 horsepower and 450 foot-pounds of torque. Specialized wheels, tires, and suspension are calibrated more for handling than for hauling. This limited production image-generator is available only as a 2wd regular cab on the 120-inch wheelbase.  also available for 2002 is a new limited-edition ford harley-davidson f-150 supercrew. It features a supercharged 5. 4-liter triton v8 engine, unique styling cues and a new color option: dark shadow grey. The 2002 ford harley-davidson f-150 supercrew is the third truck jointly developed by ford motor company and harley-davidson motor company. (it joins two other limited-edition models: the 2000 ford harley-davidson f-150 super cab and the 2001 ford harley-davidson f-150 supercrew. walkaroundthe f-150 is a stylish truck, one that pays more serious attention to aerodynamics than either the dodge or gm pickups. It is rounder, friendlier and looks more like a car than the dodge, chevy, or gmc. That may be part of the reason it outsells all other pickup trucks by a considerable margin. The current chevrolet and gmc trucks are still pretty new (they were redesigned for the 1999 model year), but their conservative styling doesn't look as modern as the ford's. The dodge ram has been redesigned for 2002, but retains a retro look that won't appeal to everyone (at least not as intensely as it appeals to its die-hard fans).  the f-150's aerodynamic hood falls away very rapidly from the base of the windshield, so it's easier to see what's immediately in front of the truck; that's handy for maneuvering off road, for parking, and when navigating in tight city traffic. Like the ram, however, its fenders seem to fill small rural roads. In tight quarters, this feels like a big truck.  the 2002 ford harley-davidson f-150 supercrew incorporates styling cues of the past with an innovative flair. The front end of the vehicle features a new upper chrome billet grille, clear-lens headlamps and clear-lens parking lamps embossed with the harley-davidson bar & shield. For 2002, a distinct rivet design surrounds the center of the 20x9-inch five-spoke chromed cast-aluminum wheels, complementing the center caps that display the harley-davidson bar & shield. Flame pin striping and chrome accessories complement the overall package. As in the past, the ford harley-davidson f-150 supercrew is lowered one inch. It features a specially tuned exhaust system with a dual inlet/dual outlet muffler, ending in chrome 3 1/2-inch 'slash cut' exhaust tips. interiorthe f-150 takes its interior design cues from the company's successful passenger cars, such as the ford taurus and lincoln continental. The designers adapted these cues to the pickup's larger cab. The curves, surfaces, textures, instrumentation and graphics inside the f-150 are more adventurous, more modern, and in some ways better executed than the gm and dodge, big and bold but not outsized for a big vehicle.  the mid-range f-150 xlt has dual air bags with a passenger-side deactivation switch. They offer a lot of interior space for the money. The xlt's cloth seats recline, and a lumbar support on the driver's side provides even more driving comfort.  all ford pickups share another trait: a relatively high ride height, even on 2x4 models. Getting into and out of the rear seats was easy. The rear seats are comfortable and offer good legroom, allowing passengers to slide their feet under the front seats. Adults should be able to ride back there for longer trips. It's also a nice place to change into and out of driver's suits when we go racing.  supercrew's rear seats fold down (and are split 60/40), offering a nearly flat luggage space. It's a great place to put cargo or big dogs. I like putting all my equipment back there when i go fly fishing. Small storage compartments behind the front seats add utility. This is because they use conventional steel leaf springs at the rear.  up front, the 2wd pickups use a coil-spring independent suspension, while the 4x4 versions use a torsion bar front suspension.  power steering is over-assisted, to make it easier to park and maneuver in tight quarters.  we find the brakes on ford trucks to be average in stopping power and average in fade characteristics.  although the optional 4. 6-liter v8 engine is rated 231 horsepower and 293 foot-pounds of torque, we don't think it's as good a performer in many respects as the small v8 engines from gm and dodge. It's a good, solid engine, with millions of examples on the road, and it sounds good at full throttle, but we find it a little duff for all-around street use, and we would certainly find it wanting if we had to haul anything heavy or tow a trailer up a mountain road. For any customer contemplating those kinds of duties, the 5. 4-liter v8 engine is a much better choice. summaryford's f-150 is still among the most car-like of the full-size pickup trucks, with slick looks, pleasing performance, a comfortable cabin, and a proven powertrain.  ford's new f-150 supercrew is the most comfortable of the light-duty crew cabs currently available. model lineup4x2 styleside 120-in. At the other end of the scale, premium models include two-tone leather seats, polished 22-inch wheels and other touches: within those extremes lies something for everyone.  2008 marks the first availability of an xl-grade supercrew with 5. 5- or 6. 5-foot bed: maximum people space with a work truck ethic. Detail changes for 2008 run the gamut from functional to decorative, the latter a wheels and stripes package for stx models, the former a standard tachometer for xl and stx with manual transmission, tire pressure monitors on the heavy-duty package, plus the availability of a cargo management system, remote start, telescoping towing mirrors, and a rearview camera (that does not require purchase of a navigation system).  with one of the deepest beds in the half-ton pickup segment, the f-150 has generous cargo volume out back and a maximum payload rating of 3,050 pounds. A foose edition f-150 designed by hot-rod master chip foose will be available as a late-2008 model. The base f-150 xl 17,345) is a short, regular cab two-wheel drive. Wheels are steel, the grille is black and bumpers painted, vinyl covers the floor and seats, and the audio is am/fm. However, it does have intermittent wipers, map lights, a 40/20/40 split bench front seat with driver lumbar adjustment, and on supercabs 23,440) air conditioning. Since it frequently adds other upgrades and a larger engine, 4wd adds almost $6,000 (and a v8) to the most basic example and $3,000 to the lowest-priced supercab.  stx models up the ante without going broke, with body-color front and rear bumpers and grille trim, air conditioning, cd player, and cloth upholstery. A 4x2 regular cab short bed starts at $21,050 and a 4x4 supercab flareside goes for $29,045; there is no stx supercrew.  central to the lineup, and sales, is the xlt. To an stx it adds chrome bumpers, black honeycomb grille, remote keyless entry, power mirrors/locks/windows, carpeting, auto headlamps, tinted windows, and better fabric for the 40/20/40 seat. Hefty rubber mats protect the carpet; other upgrades include a leather-wrapped wheel, unique instrument display, and sport cloth upholstery with driver and passenger lumbar support. Monotone paint includes the bumpers (gray with tow-tone paint), flares cover 18-inch aluminum wheels, and the door gets keypad entry. On regular cabs 24,105-30,645) the fx4 is $5,750 over the fx2 and there's no long-wheelbase fx4; on supercab and supercrew 28,700-35,445), the 4wd version is a $3,295 premium.  the lariat label is reserved for more luxurious, car-like interiors, and does not include regular cab or flareside models; retail prices range from $29,895-$35,595. Fancy bits include 18-inch aluminum wheels, power heated mirrors with signal repeaters, climate control, leather-trimmed seats and steering wheel, powered driver's seat, trip computer, light-faced gauges, and chrome and arizona beige trim.  for 2008, ford will build 5,000 lariat limited f-150s, replete with serial-number plates, spun-metal instrument cluster trim, two-tone leather cabin, color-matched grille and bumpers, and three-dimensional chrome bed side badging. Limited models are offered only as 139-inch wheelbase supercrews in two- 35,160) or all-wheel drive 38,160).  top tier among regular production models is the king ranch, with castano leather modeled after the saddles that roamed the texas ranch. Exterior trim is similar to lariats, with color-matching components and arizona beige accents. At this level, items such as heated power seats and power-folding mirrors are standard. And the 2008 ford f-150 shows the evolution of 70 years of function. Angular means easy to clean, easy to park and gives maximum inside volume for outside space. The f-150 is easily recognized in any trim level by the circular front lights within a rectangular housing, stepped front window ledge, opening rear doors on the regular cab, and the tall bed. For 2008, extendable dual-element towing mirrors bring the f-150 in line with the bigger super duty pickups, as well as the ram, titan, and tundra. Any cosmetic sacrifice is well worth the extra visibility with a trailer behind.  pillars between the doors may yield a blind spot for those who sit more rearward and everyone should appreciate the windshield pillar designed to help preserve forward vision. The flareside really is more stylish than the styleside bed, that which is essentially a box with some character lines in the sheetmetal, and more space within. The chrome harley badges are a bit much for some of us, but it drew many admiring looks. interiorford has all bases covered inside the f-150, with plenty of patterns, textures and finishes, including at least three different gauges clusters, and the choice of a 40/20/40 split-bench front seat or captain's chairs in many models. Captain's chairs on fx and lariat models, especially with power adjustment and the optional adjustable pedals, provide good driver positioning for virtually everyone. Finding it may take some time because the backrest angle adjustment is manual and the power controls are on the side of the seat with the door very close.
